Statement of Faith/Rules

This is a list of our beliefs. We are not interested in debating our beliefs here. While we know that not all believers will agree 100% on things we believe we should still be able to get along.  God bless.

We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration and preservation of the Holy Bible.

We believe the Holy Bible to be the only rule for faith and practice.
 2Ti 3:16  All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2Ti 3:17  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.


We believe and use the King James Version of the Bible. (We ask out of respect to this board that the King James will be the only Bible used when posting verses. With that being said, we will not be mean-spirited to those who believe differently.)

We believe in God, who eternally exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. 1Jo 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

We believe in regeneration through Christ alone and eternal security of the believer.

We believe in salvation by grace through faith and not of works.
Eph 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Eph 2:9  Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Tts 3:5  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
 
We believe in the virgin birth, bodily resurrection, and bodily ascension into Heaven of Christ. Even now in Heaven He intercedes for believers.

We believe that Creation was a process which lasted 6 literal (24-hour) days.

We believe in the pretribulational return of Christ for His saints (the Rapture), the premillennial return of Christ to set up His Kingdom (Second Advent), and in the subsequent Millennial Reign of Christ.

We believe in the Judgment Seat of Christ and the Great White Throne Judgment where the saved and the lost, respectively, will be judged according to their works.

We believe in the reality of Heaven and Hell.

We believe in the local church as God's autonomous institution of regenerated believers which
practice 2 scriptural ordinances: baptism by immersion and the Lord's supper and
have 2 scriptural offices: pastor and deacon.

It is the responsibility of every believer to live a holy life while witnessing to the lost the saving power of Christ and the carrying out of the Great Commission.

We believe in the priesthood of all believers, soul liberty, and the freedom to interpret the Bible individually.

We believe there is much confusion in many churches because of false prophets and lack of clear, concise, concrete Bible teaching.

While many disagree we do not feel that there is such a thing as "Christian" rock. Please no posts or links to anything promoting this music.
